Verdict

Fortamour is penalised for winning over 7f here though there should be more to come over this extra distance. But HILL HOLLOW was beaten only a length by Aegeus, rated 74, over course and distance on his debut and David Simcock’s charge looks to have leading claims on that form. Bobby Shaft went close at Redcar back in April but hasn’t raced since but Desert Caravan’s dam is a half-sister to the high-class Sinndar and he’s a newcomer to note.
