In depth

Verdict

Halcyon Days won at Carlisle on his reappearance but saves his best for that venue while Orioninverness could only manage third at Ayr last time having won at Perth before that. Just Georgie was runner-up over a longer trip at Kelso in April but Sudski Star was still beaten out of sight when second at Carlisle recently. COPPER WEST (NAP) went close in a higher grade chase at Wetherby and can race off the same mark today so Tom George’s charge is taken to open his account over fences.
