Verdict

James Fanshawe’s yard is back among the winners again and NOVEL LEGEND is taken to show further improvement having found one too good at Newbury on his handicap debut. King Eagle is another with scope for progress after a fourth at Ripon while Nolton Cross steps up in trip after finishing second at Southwell without troubling the winner. Appier has looked high enough in the weights since landing a hat-trick while World Without Love is usually in the mix without winning.
