        Verdict

        Sir Mark Prescott had every chance of winning the previous race and ELYSEES PALACE is fancied to land a quick double for the yard. The latter ended last year prematurely having followed a maiden success with a course and distance victory on his handicap debut back in May. He can continue his good progress raised only 3lb. Remmy D landed a claimer at Redcar when last in action while Mr Carbonator went close at Southwell recently but has won on Tapeta in the past. Mametz Wood has also been running well on the Fibresand but over shorter trips than this and Berlusca is preferred on his earlier win at Wolverhampton.
