The going here will suit TIGER DREAM, who gets the verdict; Dechiper, All In The Red and Ergo also make the shortlist. The selection has put in a couple of encouraging efforts on slow ground recently, finishing runner-up at the last two attempts on turf. He is better suited to fast ground so should be able to go one better here today. All In The Red ran well in second at Haydock last time, proving his effectiveness on a variety of ground types. His last victory came on fast ground at Nottingham back in April, but his form since then has been a little inconsistent. We expect him to be the selections stiffest competitor but may find him a little to hard to beat. Ergo was the winner of a handicap for jump jockeys just two starts ago but his last outing over a shorter trip was a little disappointing. Now back up in trip he should do better but a second turf win of the year looks unlikely. Dechiper is another who performs well on a range of ground types and he proved this with a decent run at Carlisle last time. Condiditions here should suit but he is on his highest winning mark and looks a little vulnerable in this company. Tiger Dream gets the nod then, in what should be a very competitive handicap.
