          Verdict

          Outlaw Torn will be having his 96th start but very rarely runs over this trip nowadays though he has won over the course and distance. He's only 3lb higher than his victory at Redcar last month and has to be on the shortlist. It's almost two years since Tenhoo won a race and he might prefer further on this ground but APPLEJACK LAD has a good chance on his two latest runs over further and gets the nod though a strike-rate of 1-26 doesn't inspire major confidence. Riponian made most over a mile here last month though he was handed a soft lead and that's unlikely to happen again.
