Verdict
Needwood Lad is taken to improve from his debut and score at the second time of asking with both Desert Falls and Cash In The Attic worth noting. The selection finished third of thirteen on his debut at Redcar in June. He has been given time to get over his excursions and with the yard in such good form of late he would not have to improve a great deal to be in the shake up. Desert Falls has run well on all three career starts to date and posted what was possibly a personal best at Beverley when third to Noodles Blue Boy last time out. Another bold bid can be expected but he may fair better in handicaps from now on. Cash In The Attic is possibly flattered by his third placing at Brighton recently as there were on four runners in the race, so is possibly one to treat with caution. So for the winner we return to Needwood Lad.
