Verdict
An extremely difficult finale, where even the draw advantage is not easy to predict, but from stall one Jedeydd just gets the vote ahead of On The Trail, Ballybunion and Williams Well. Jedeydd is a quirky sort who came from a most unpromising position to win a claimer at Haydock last time with a storming fashion. Although this is a better race, that may have given him some confidence and from just a two pounds higher mark he should have every chance here if things go right for him. On The Trail has been in great heart recently, winning a couple of races at Pontefract before finishing fourth at Beverley last time. Although they were over the minimum trip, he is just as effective over this six furlongs and should again be in the shake-up from stall 3. Ballybunion was a beaten favourite, but far from disgraced at Bath last time and should again be thereabouts, as should Williams Well, who generally goes well here. Mick Easterby's charge showed signs of a return to form at Redcar last time and is on a fair mark. While we feel a low draw is probably best here, it may be worth having a saver on one drawn high, and A Teen fits the bill. He didn't get the best of runs at Chepstow last time, is on a fair mark and Seb sanders is an eyecatching jockey booking. However, on the far side Jedeydd gets the overall vote in a difficult race to fathom.
