    Verdict

GLEN FORCE started at odds of 20/1 over track and trip for his racecourse debut but caught the eye finishing strongly to claim second-place. Sir Mark Prescott’s charge can go one better in this. Roger Varian trained the winner of the selection’s race and introduces Nehaall but Wallgate stands out of the newcomers racing in the same colours as his half-sister and high-class sprinter Mabs Cross. Savage Beauty ran well over 7f on her debut and Queen's Course is a likely improver for the Haggas yard with both preferred to the penalised Danny Ocean
