Verdict
Earlofthecotswolds won this last year and beat Fleurman by only a head at Wolverhampton last month. But he’d finished behind BERKSHIRE ROCCO on a couple of occasions earlier in the year including when the latter found one too good at Kempton. Andrew Balding’s charge also had the measure of Rainbow Dreamer, Aced It and Solent Gateway in that race and another bold bid is expected. The latter was too good for both Barenboim and Withhold when scoring at Wolverhampton in January while Nolton Cross is upped in trip having won three times over 1m4f so far this year.
