      Verdict

      Little separated FOREST OF DEAN and stable companion Harrovian in the Winter Derby at Lingfield last month. But the former came out best in a conditions' race over course and distance before that and the Godolphin charge gets the vote on that form. Irish challenger Freescape comes out best at the weights but failed to figure in three starts at Meydan earlier on the year and Base Note may prove a bigger threat on his recent form in handicaps. Notre Belle Bete steps up in trip while United Front could only manage fifth in this last year.
