Verdict

TIPTOEAWAY hasn't done as well as expected over timber after a debut success in a bumper but has plenty of time and appears to be finally getting his act together. He stepped up to 2m5f at Market Rasen with good effect last month and is ready to gain his first success over hurdles. Diamond D'Amour attracted support on his racecourse debut over 2m7f at Kelso but pulled up after a bad mistake. He did much better when attempting to force the pace over the minimum trip here last month, eventually finishing third behind Bunclody. Runner-up Lucky Sunny is engaged in the opener here so that result should be monitored. Lua De Itapoan was well beaten in a couple of bumpers before showing improved form in a Carlisle novice hurdle over today's trip and should make enough progress to pose a threat.
