        Verdict

        MAYWAKE has been thereabouts in all four outings so far and finished runner-up over track and trip a fortnight ago with Forever's Lady, Miss Connaisseur and Barney Too all well beaten. He can go one better given Great Hunter still finished a long way behind the winner when third at Chelmsford and drops down in trip. Storm Master also failed to threaten when placed at Hamilton while the newcomer Patontheback, a half-brother to a Listed sprinter, could get involved.
