Brother McGonagall has been raised 4lb for winning at Musselburgh when last year’s winner Glengarry was back in fourth. Alnadir was still in contention when stumbling and falling over a longer trip at Chelmsford while Eligible also has a shout on a third at Sandown last time. Helovaplan went close at Beverley earlier and is another to consider but BANKSEA found only one too good over course and distance on his penultimate start and the former smart handicapper may well be up to winning again off his current mark.
