In depth
Verdict
Julius Caesar landed a nice touch last time and should go close to following up today, however there should be much more to come from Kupka and he just gets the nod, King Of Confusion may do best of the others. Len Lungo's six-year-old made a winning debut over hurdles when easily accounting for Sports Express at Carlisle. That was over the two and a half mile trip but his trainer said afterwards that he does expect him to stay a lot further, so today's distance will not be a problem. Julius Caesar conquered a modest field at Sedgefield last time on good ground. The different conditions today are a slight concern but nevertheless he will be hard to keep out of the places. The in form Ferdy Murphy runs three here and King Of Confusion could prove the best of the trio having shown promise in two outings to date. So once again not a very strong event and Kupka should be capable of landing first prize
