      Verdict

      John Gosden has an impressive overall strike rate at the track and MERRY VALE is expected to improve on her handicap debut. Baladio is another unexposed type though hasn’t raced since November while Greengage was beaten in an amateurs’ race over a longer trip last time having won over course and distance before that. Ravenscar finished in front of Lady Camelot over 1m2f here recently and drops down a grade while Flood Defence has been hurdling but has yet to win on the all-weather.
