      Verdict

This is the most competitive race on the card so it not with too much confidence that Landucci is given the vote, ahead of Yorker and Fair Shake. The John Hills trained gelding has performed with credit since landing a Brighton classified event. He hasn't been beaten far in handicaps at Epsom and Lingfield and could still be a on a very fair mark. Yorker bounced back to his best at Hamilton last time, over powering the in form Locombe Hill, if that wasn't a flash in the pan, he will provide a big threat to the selection. Fair Shake finished four lengths behind Yorker in that contest, but he ran on after missing the break and with a nice weight pull has a chance of reversing that running. Zanjeer can be expected to run his usual game race despite top-weight, and Ballyhurry is also worth a mention, but Landucci appears the pick of the weights and taken to land the spoils.
