Verdict
This is proving a notable maiden race. A subsequent Group 3 winner won the first renewal and the smart English King was successful in 2019. Last year’s winner Teona went on to Group 1 success for Roger Varian and the latter runs VOODOO QUEEN, a promising third at Nottingham on last month’s debut and an early entry in next year’s Irish Oaks. Clear Day also placed at Nottingham when just ahead of Nova Legend while Splendent went close at Haydock but Medyaf and stablemate March Moon have plenty of improving to do. Oriental World includes Dubai World Cup winner Thunder Snow among his winning relatives and is a newcomer to note.
