Verdict

Notions and Honky Tonk Man are penalised for winning on the Polytrack last month though both are partnered by apprentices taking 5lb off their backs. Sir Winston represents last year’s winning yard though was well beaten at Kempton on his debut and a chance is taken on a newcomer. Frantanck includes a Listed winner among his relatives and is preferred to Ballynaveen Boy and Timeless Touch but MASTER OF COLOURS is a half-brother to Group 1 winner Lady Bowthorpe and Group 2 winner Speak In Colours and Marco Botti’s colt may prove the one to side with.
