Dropped in trip, also 4lbs in the weights and now with blinkers applied for the first time, Ingleby King could show improved form today, though preference is for LAKE CHINI. Mick Easterby's eight-year-old is thoroughly exposed and ran well on his first try at this track last time. Back over course and distance and on ground that suits, a repeat of that effort, where the front pair were clear, may well suffice. Elkhorn is hard to win with but often makes the frame and from today's mark of 49 he may do so again, while He's A Humbug is fairly treated and in reasonable form, so he can also join battle for some prize money. Lake Chini took well to Gosforth Park last time and can go one better.
