        Verdict

        Monel finished runner-up in testing ground at Ayr last time, albeit in lesser company. TEETOTAL moves in the opposite direction as he went close in a higher grade sprint at Thirsk last month so rates the selection having won in soft ground earlier this year. Pennine Warrior and My Son Max were both well beaten last time having won their penultimate starts and Chiswick Bey is up 4lb for scoring at Redcar recently when just getting the better of Exotic Guest. Lothair has underfoot conditions to suit and may prove best of the rest.
