In depth

Verdict

The Gipper loves the mud and goes well fresh so a break since completing a quick double at Ffos Las in December is not a concern, though he’s been hit with a 12lb rise. VADO FORTE has been off the track since November but was last seen running in the Greatwood at Cheltenham having run well behind the prolific Ballymoy at Chepstow on his reappearance. He was in very good form around this time last year and will be fresher than a few of these. Minella Charmer needs further and is not exactly reliable but Dali Mail has been running well at Ayr and is unexposed. Only Orsenfoolsies and Melody Of Scotland could have place claims but Suggestion may now be in the handicapper’s grip.
