In depth

Verdict

Getalead’s winning run came to an end at Taunton though he drops back down in class for this and is still preferred to Return Fire, who placed yet again at Kelso last time. But SKIPTHESCALES found one too good at the same fixture at Kelso having improved for the switch to Neil Alexander’s yard and is taken to end a long losing run having tumbled down the weights. Stoney Rover is another looking to take advantage of a slide down the handicap and finished runner-up at Hexham last month but Bullion Boss is upped in class after placing at Catterick.
