Verdict

ALWAYS RESOLUTE made a winning start over hurdles at Catterick in December. He was clear when falling at the last at that track the following month and taking on much better opposition when fourth last time at Musselburgh so this looks a good opportunity to pick up the winning thread again with Craig Gallagher's claim accounting for most of his penalty. Frightened Rabbit only found one too good on his hurdling debut at Market Rasen and was then fourth on the Fibresand at Southwell but looks as though he needs further. Eastview Boy has shown some ability and jockey bookings suggest he's the pick of Philip Kirby's two runners.
