Verdict

Rupert Bear has been placed twice over these fences but has never really looked like winning. Ever So Much is sliding down the weights but is better on much quicker ground. Stilo Blue Native finished tailed off on his chasing bow and Castlelawn was pulled up on heavy going when last seen. CLAN CHIEF unseated his rider in the race won by Rosquero here last month but jumped much better when staying on into fifth at Ayr a couple of weeks later and the course winner is the one to beat with a clear round today.
