        Verdict

        Mutarakez has his first run for Ruth Carr after a break but looks the type to win plenty of races now based in the north. He didn’t manage a victory last year but wasn’t beaten far on Polytrack at Chelmsford in June when 7lb higher and is worth noting whatever his fate today. International Law just got the better of Lost At Sea in a similar contest over track and trip a couple of weeks ago but the runner-up is slightly better off at the weights. Newmarket Warrior never figured in that and is a pound wrong in the weights in this. IFUBELIEVEINDREAMS has had a short break but looked progressive when last seen so gets a tentative vote as Zabeel Star has been racing over longer trips lately.
