In depth
Verdict
Although her trainer thinks Cute Cate should be ideally suited to this sort of trip her last three outings would indicate that she may be vulnerable to a fast finisher and it may pay to look elsewhere for win only purposes here. And Countrywide Flyer fits the bill after a most encouraging effort in a seller at Catterick last time out. Alizar and Royal Upstart are others who should be capable of getting involved in the shake-up today and cannot be ruled out of a place at least. Whereas Jiffies Flyer, who has a strong chance on the official figures for the race, may not be the most straightforward of characters and is one to swerve at present. In contrast to Countrywide Flyer, who has at least run consistently to her current mark and looks the likeliest candidate to give her all tonight.
