Although she let her supporters down here last week, Ruby Legend ran an encouraging enough race to allow the gelding the benefit of the doubt and give him another chance here. Princes Theatre and Compton Drake will not make it easy for the selection though and this could well go right down to the wire. Style Dancer is a grand old campaigner who could also give them all plenty to think about if he arrives here with his mind on the job and is another to consider to bump up an adventurous tricast combination. But Ruby Legend hails from a yard that knows the time of day and they will be keen to recoup the losses from seven days ago. The drop back in trip could well be the key for him and he looks a worthy favourite for this modest contest.
