          Verdict

          Liberty Bound despite having to carry topweight in this sprint looks well handicapped and can carry on the improvement made this winter on the sand through to the turf. Derek Shaw's filly runs off a nine pound lower mark than on the all-weather and looks sure to go close. Mary Jane ran better than her finishing position indicates last time and is not without hope, nor is Arran Mist who showed up well when third last time out. Tim Easterby saddles Eastern Promise and it is interesting that his jockey has chosen this mount ahead of a number of other alternatives in this field.
