In depth

Verdict

The two recent winners Mint Gold and Everyday Champagne are both raised in class and the former is also upped in distance. But NOCTE VOLATUS has placed in more competitive chases than this and having undergone wind surgery since finishing third at Chepstow, Tom Lacey’s charge gets the vote. Ladronne would prefer a faster surface and Dalyotin is preferred on today’s ground.
