In depth

Verdict

THAAYER won over track and trip before beaten only a neck back here last month and looks worth sticking with in his current form. Confrontational seems best over shorter trips nowadays and scored over 6f at the track last time but Ghostly went close at Carlisle, though is still looking for his first win. Mikmak was still well beaten when third at Pontrefract but First Response will appreciate the return to the all-weather having slipped down the weights since last successful.
