In depth
Verdict
Snap is very much in form and can pay to follow, with Top Dirham, True Night and Kirkby¿s Treasure other leading players. Mark Johnston continues to churn out the winners and in Snap has the ammunition to add to his tally. The three-year-old produced a really gutsy effort to master Commando Scott at Thirsk and although this is tougher, he can prove up to the task. Top Dirham was well fancied when just getting up at Ayr recently, but a small penalty may be enough to blunt his challenge here. True Night has topweight after a sterling effort at Ascot. There was not much left in the locker at the finish but he does face slightly easier opposition now. Kirkby¿s Treasure has a chance on the improved form he has shown this season and will like the less demanding conditions than at Carlisle. For the winner though, we return to Snap.
