    Verdict

George Moore's Reel Buddy Star ran better when fourth behind Kiwi Bay at Redcar earlier this month and he has solid place claims but for the winner it is hard to get away from SECRETIVE, who gets the vote ahead of Rosko. Brian Ellison's gelding made an encouraging reappearance when a close fifth in a similar contest here over seven furlongs at the beginning of the month and he has to be respected racing of the same mark today. Just Bond only beat one home at Redcar last time but is better than he showed that day, although he could probably do with some help from the handicapper. Olympic Dream was well held here first time up but Richard Fahey has his string in good from so he cannot be discounted but Secretive has an obvious chance and is the confident choice. Mark Johnston's colt has improved with each start this term, winning well at Haydock last month after placed efforts at Nottingham and Newmarket previously and losing no caste in defeat off his new mark at Ascot last time when fourth in the Britannia; he can resume winning ways today.
