Verdict
Colin Teague's Lees Anthem deserves to get his head in front having found one too good in each of his three starts since winning at Musselburgh in April but he may have to settle for minor honours again racing off the same mark as last time and it may be worth siding with MY ONE WEAKNESS, who gets the verdict ahead of Patch Patch. The Michael Dods-trained gelding stepped up from previous form this term when successful at Ayr last month and he has solid claims racing off just a 2lb higher mark today. Jack Luey ran better than expected over course and distance last time and has claims off the same mark, while Kevin Ryan's Perfect Blossom seems too high in the weights following his win two starts ago. Noel Wilson's Ya Boy Sir is likely to find this tougher than the race that he won at Musselburgh last week but he can race off the same mark as that was an apprentices' contest and he escapes a penalty so has to be considered. Marginal preference though is for Brian Ellison's My One Weakness, who may be worth siding with on his reappearance having won well on his final start as a juvenile when successful at Ayr and he looks worth siding with off just a 5lb higher mark today.
