In depth

Verdict

Mountain Rescue is upped 5lb after winning at Leicester while Berlusca has been raised 3lb for a narrow-margin success at Chester with El Beau well behind. Several of these went close on their latest starts suggesting their turn is not far away including Street Artist, Rotherwick and Dark Ruler while Star of Spring steps up in trip having gone close over a mile at Hamilton. FALLEN FOR A STAR failed to threaten on his debut for Luca Cumani and seasonal reappearance at Kempton. But the Wolverhampton maiden winner should be sharper and gets the vote.
