Verdict
Red Emperor is something of a standing dish here and is the TEAMtalk selection to notch his fourth course and distance success. The Norman Mason-trained gelding is back on the same mark compared to his victory here in March and, with conditions in his favour, should take the beating. Grangewick Flight appeared to show improved form at Carlisle last time despite being 11lb out of the handicap but was perhaps flattered in extremely testing conditions. Recent Wetherby winner Left bank now appears high enough in the weights so Trooper, who remains in top form, may prove a bigger danger.
