Verdict
SECRET STRENGTH struggled over a longer trip in the Coventry Stakes at Ascot last time but had won a conditions race over the minimum trip at Musselburgh before that. Rated 91, the Hannon colt looks the one to beat back at this level. Kingboard Star is also penalised for making a winning debut at Bath while Catch Cunningham drops back down in distance after placing at Haydock. Scattering is entered in the Two-Year-Old Trophy and is a newcomer to note.
