In depth

Verdict

Vanity Affair included a course and distance success in a recent hat-trick but is 11lb higher today having won again at Nottingham subsequently. SPIRIT DANCER was placed in both previous starts on the all-weather and, having just missed out at Chester last time, Richard Fahey’s charge may edge this. Arctic Vega has a shout back on this surface and Pallas Dancer has been in good form in lower grade races at the track. Kentuckyconnection won over a mile here back in March while Madeeh rattled up a four-timer over a longer trip at this venue early in the year.
