Verdict

SPEAK IN COLOURS, who won this last year with Smash Williams in fourth and five-times track winner Make A Challenge sixth, should be cherry-ripe to score again. The latter reversed the places in a Listed race here in August, with Romantic Proposal in fourth, and has been in a bit better form than his rival though more rain would be a help. Harry's Bar holds verdicts over the selection and his own stable companion Laugh A Minute at Dundalk but has never won on Turf while the three-year-old Admiral Nelson hasn't won since his debut over 5f here a year ago. Teresa Mendoza may prove best of the younger brigade having run a fine race in a Group 3 here earlier this month.
