Verdict

Dalton Highway won this last year and is only 2lb higher with Sam Ewing's claim a major plus but he's been running poorly. Arcadian Sunrise has been going well over hurdles, scoring easily at Punchestown last month, while the veteran 17-times winner Peregrine Run will think he's been let loose with this weight. Dinard Rose needs some rain while Hook Head ran poorly at Limerick after his Leopardstown success. Shoshone Warrior ran quite well on his reappearance but the vote goes to DEWCUP, a smart hurdler and dual bumper winner who was racing over a trip too short when a beaten favourite at Ballinrobe on Monday.
