Verdict

Sandy Thomson trained last year’s winner and THE FERRY MASTER (NAP) won a novices chase on this card last season. The latter will be sharper for a recent comeback run having finished fourth in the Scottish Grand National in April when ahead of both Cool Mix and Aye Right. The latter was also beaten by 2019 winner Takingrisks at Doncaster in January and Nicky Richards’ veteran could go well again while Good Boy Bobby landed a Listed handicap at Wetherby last month and is preferred to Spiritofthegames and the selection’s stablemate Dingo Dollar.
