Verdict
Another less than inspiring contest in which it is hard to enthuse about from a serious betting point of view. There is very little worthwhile form under Rules to go on and perhaps Minden Rose, a point-to-point winner, can defy an absence of almost three months to take the spoils. The nine-year-old is only a tentative choice ahead of Smiths Wynd, who at least is in some form between the flags and comes here race-fit, and Havetwotaketwo, who is not the safest of conveyances.
