Verdict
East Ilsley handler Hughie Morrison has been in good form in both codes and his Cal Mac is sure to have his supporters having shown ability in maidens as a juvenile. Nick Littmoden took the title for leading trainer on the all-weather this winter and the consistent Weet A Round is another to consider while Fluent, who showed encouragement last term, is also capable of making an impact at this level. James Fanshawe's newcomer Invicta, a daughter of Distant Relative out of a winning miler by Don't Forget Me, wouldn't need to be anything special to go close on her debut but narrow preference is for Trojan. William Haggas has an enviable strike rate here and his three-year-old can fulfill the promise he showed on his sole start last August when finishing in the frame in a Folkestone maiden.
