        Verdict

        Stakes should be kept to a minimum in a poor race that is no better than a seller with a range of jockeyship on view. Even so, Pup's Pride won in impresive fashion over course and distance last week and will take some stopping under a 5lb penalty. In contrast, Noble Locks only narrowly lifted a Southwell handicap on his latest outing and has been raised by the same amount while Aberkeen, who flopped last time having won for today's jockey at Doncaster previously, is likely to find this too sharp.
