Verdict
Atletico should be in the mix back on the all-weather but is now 13lb higher than when scoring over track and trip on November. Eastern Impact went close when sent off favourite at Newmarket last time while Copper Knight is back on a winning mark but folded in the closing stages at Musselburgh along with SOIE D’LEAU. The latter has to be forgiven that run as he had made a winning reappearance at Thirsk before that with Dakota Gold and Orvar behind and gets another chance only 2lb higher today. Barrington won a lower grade sprint at Nottingham recently but Evergate posted a better effort at the same track last time and is preferred to stablemate Goldream.
