Verdict
This looks to be a good opportunity for Sun King to get his season back on track and Mary Reveley's charge is fancied to hold too much of a finishing kick for the frustrating Bergamo and Pornic - although Irish raider The Joker throws a bit of a spanner in the works and is one to be wary if supported. However, Sun King has done little wrong in his last few starts and it may have been as simple as just meeting one better handicapped when finishing third behind Volano at Huntingdon last month. The six-year-old gave useful Flat recruit Celebration Town a good test during his last outing and went down fighting despite being done for toe near the finish. Of the remainder, Bergamo and Pornic have claims on the best of their form but have become hard to win with in recent times. And the same can also be said of Mister Chisum, whose tendency to clout a few on the way round is a little off-putting. However, he gets on well with Anabelle Armitage and is another to monitor for support in the betting ring. Scippit and Sting Like A Bee complete the line up for a competitive amateur riders contest, but Sun king has already shown enough this season to suggest that he can carry Owyn Nelmes to victory at this level.
