        Verdict

        Division Two is as poor as Division One, but we'll side with course and distance winner DARCY'S PRIDE, ahead of Dalarossie and Revue Princess. Paul Midgeley's mare won a similar race here three runs back, from a good low draw that day, and again she's coming from a good position. She's got three pounds in hand on Revue Princess who's drawn poorly, but also has course and distance winning form to her name, having won a similar contest here in May and the corresponding race last year. Last week she was placed over this trip at Hamilton after a prominent ride, and from stall ten she may be sent to the front early on again. Dalarossie is another one who likes to be up with the pace early, but one win in a claimer from 26 runs doesn't inspire much confidence. Any support for Tanley could be interesting, as he's having his first run since December. Darcy's Pride though will carry our modest support.
