Verdict

Willie Haggas sends just one runner to Newcastle, but we think he'll more than recoup the cost of the diesel with THE ONLY BOSS landing the spoils here, but Honest Broker and Billionaire Boy also make the shortlist. The Only Boss is entitled to come on from his debut at Yarmouth a couple of weeks ago. He's got Newmarket entries for the weekend and April, and is well related. Honest Broker and Billionaire Boy are both seeing a course for the first time, and support in the ring for either would be encouraging. Mark Johnston's usually need a race or two to get fully tuned up, and Honest Broker didn't cost much and doesn't have any fancy entries. By contrast, Billionaire Boy has twice changed hands for big money, and is entered in a listed race at Redcar this weekend. Anna's Boy and Sixties Rock haven't shown anything yet to encourage us, so we'll side with The Only Boss.
