Verdict

Erika Parkinson teamed-up with Mick Appleby to win this last year and partnered FINERY to an easy win at Chelmsford last week. The latter is set to be raised 9lb for that success and can defy today’s penalty. Harry Russell has also won this contest in the past and Anif went close over track and trip before beaten over a mile while Twilight Secret returns to this longer trip having won over 6f here. Starshiba is usually thereabouts without winning and Lost My Sock has yet to race over this far.
