      Verdict

CLOUD LINE made an encouraging debut at Newcastle before finding Marmoom just too good over this course and distance. The remainder were beaten a long way and it should be third time lucky. Spellbind has produced two decent runs on this track and she only faded close home last time so looks certain to get into the action. Capelita looked very green at Yarmouth last week and may need more experience but there are some very choicely-bred newcomers engaged and the market should be noted. Chief among them could be Mike De Kock's Cape Cross filly Batrana, whose dam produced a winner with her first foal.
